Madhurima Basak celebrates her b’day with family and friends

It’s Madhurima Basak’s birthday today and the actress has taken a leave from her shoot to relax and enjoy the day with family and friends. “Today I am relaxing at home and that’s my biggest birthday gift to myself. Thankfully, I got an off from my shoot today. I woke up late, as that’s the luxury I don’t enjoy much because of my shoot schedules. Ma is still cooking and I don’t even know what’s on the menu for lunch.There’ll be payesh for sure. In the morning, I had coffee and cake made by ma. I’ll go out for dinner with my school friends. We plan to watch a film too,” said Madhurima, who plays Shirin, a school teacher in the serial Guddi.
What are her birthday resolutions, we ask? “The two years of the pandemic taught us the value of life, family, and health. So, I want to spend more time with my family. And definitely, I want to act in more meaningful projects,” said Madhurima, who is also one of the lead characters in Srijit Mukherji’s X=Prem which deals with the complexities of human emotions and selflessness of love as well as the pain one has to face in life.
“The film is a romantic journey depicting every phase of one’s life. It is a journey of four different individuals connected with one string. The film deals with the story of a couple, who goes through various challenges and turmoil in life resulting from an unexpected turn of events,” shared the actress.
